Colégio Oficina Divertida was founded in 2002 and intends to consolidate its role as a reference in the provision of educational and pedagogical services in the Municipality of Faro.
It has a competent team, adequate space and material resources for the teaching-learning process.
It welcomes babies, from 4 months of age, embracing its educational mission until the conclusion of the 1st cycle of basic education, currently having the following rooms:- Nursery – Nursery, rooms for 1 year and 2 year-old babies;
- Pre-School – Classrooms for 3, 4 and 5 year-old children;
- 1st Cycle of Basic Education – 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th school years.
We believe that Education makes the difference and that the school plays a decisive role in the life of each student. Thus, being at the service of the community, we aim to contribute to the holistic development of each student, considering education as a fundamental means to achieve it. It is our goal to play an educational and pedagogical role with excellence, so that Colégio Oficina Diversão consolidates its role as a teaching reference in the Municipality of Faro.
We want to be prepared for the constant challenges that are placed before us, incessantly seeking continuous adaptation and improvement to contribute to a better future and a more equitable world.
We want learning in curricular and non-curricular contexts to be authentic, meaningful, motivating and exciting. The path to follow is to provide experiences that help each of our students to grow, learn, live together and become better human beings. We seek to prepare today's students for tomorrow's demands.
We want to contribute to the integral education of the personality, stimulating the development of creative, collaborative, empathetic and emotionally healthy students, with reading habits, guiding them towards permanent discovery and developing their ability to adapt to change. We aim to help our students grow as increasingly cultured, demanding, critical, responsible, autonomous, proactive, fulfilled and resilient human beings.
We intend to promote physical-motor education, the acquisition of healthy living habits, the mastery of the English language, music education and maintain inclusive educational practices, aiming to contribute to effective and fair access to equal opportunities in achieving academic success, in parallel to the formationof citizens who are fairer, more supportive and committed to building a better society.
We want to educate in a demanding and rigorous atmosphere, promoting the taste for knowledge and knowledge, recognizing not only the result, but the process, reflected in the effort, dedication and involvement of each student in their growth.
We aim to improve our educational management, valuing everyone's role, investing in training, seeking an increasingly competent and stable teaching and non-teaching staff, awakening to pedagogical innovation and transition to digital technology. We want to encourage group work and involve the entire team in sharing decisions.
We intend to reduce the ecological footprint of our school, implement campaigns to raise awareness of climate change and reinforce the work carried out in the area of Sustainable Education. We will seek to maintain our social responsibility.
